- About Me:
- I took a surfing lesson in Waikiki back in '94 and it's been something that I've wanted to learn, but for whatever reason didn't. I moved from the bay area to the Santa Barbara area in Oct. '05. I've always like the area and had taken my first scuba boat dive through a company that charters out to the Channel Islands. So when I had the opportunity to move here for work, I took it. I met C-Girl when I moved to Carp. recently and started hanging out with the SB Surf Girls. I bought a used softtop in Feb., had my lesson w/Rob at A-Frame on April 21st. So, I am very much a newbie and lovin' it. :)

- Mondo's, Santa Claus ln., outside my front door on Carp. beach, and Waikiki... the only places I've surfed. haha...
- Favorite Surf Stuff:
- The SB Surf Girls who are supportive and a great network for learning and friendship. Thanks to C-Girl who got me connected and hooked up with my board... not to mentions the carpooling and motivation. ;)

8 ft soft top
I'm thinking it's about time I upgrade. I think I should sell my 8ft soft top and move to a real board. haha...

Labor Day at Mondo's
I went out this morning without Cha, but still couldn't find
anyone. I did find a spot on the beach and by noon, I was getting
pushed out by families and kids were messing with my board. Such is
life...
BUT....
I did get out. I paddled and looked for anyone I knew... only saw Mr.
Clean.... and paddled around him.
I did catch a great wave (by accident), got pushed into a couple of
guys and ran over one a little... OOOPS!! So sorry guy!! I felt
